Purim Heroes and Heroines

Honor a friend or loved one here!

The story of Purim celebrates the courage of individuals who stood up for what they believed in and became heroes.

Let’s spread some joy by honoring those in our lives who embody the spirit of Purim Heroes and Heroines!

For a donation of $18 per honoree, send us the name and a few sentences about why you chose that person for that specific Hero or Heroine Honor. The honoree will receive the following:

  • A special certificate
  • Recognition at the beginning and end of our Virtual Purim Shpi​el
  • An acknowledgment of your contribution
  • All contributions will also be acknowledged in the May bulletin

Vashti Heroine

This person exemplifies the characteristics of Vashti in The Megillah. A person of boldness, courage, and independence to be the voice for others who do not have a voice.

Queen Esther Heroine

This person exemplifies the characteristics of Queen Esther in The Megillah. A person of wisdom, honor and compassion that is used for the benefit of humankind.

Purim Hero/Heroine

Purim teaches us to be a hero/heroine by acting on our beliefs for the betterment of all. During this pandemic, we have a lot of heroes in our midst. This honor is for those heroes and heroines.
