We are excitedly preparing to welcome the New Year together, both in-person and virtually. We will offer a variety of services to meet the different needs of many different age groups and demographics, both in our building and in a large, open-sided tent on our Temple parking lot.
As an expression of our Reform Jewish values – protecting our own health and the health of the most vulnerable – we are adopting the following Covid protocols for the High Holidays:
1.) Masks: We ask that all our visitors – regardless of age – wear masks for all High Holiday activities at Shaare Emeth, whether indoors or outdoors.
2.) Vaccinations: Proof of vaccination is required to attend all indoor services. Outdoor services will have no vaccine requirement. We’ve intentionally programmed all of our family-oriented services to take place outdoors in our tent so that children of all ages can attend, regardless of vaccination status.
3.) Attendance limits: We will allow a maximum of 400 people to attend each indoor services and a maximum of 200 people to attend each outdoor service.
All policies are subject to change as new information and guidance becomes available.
