Shaare Emeth brings to town a new and exciting Selichot experience full of music and energy!
The holiday of Selichot helps us to prepare for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, the days of the year during which we reflect, repent and forgive. This year, Congregation Shaare Emeth is excited to celebrate this special holiday with the amazing musical and spiritual group, So Is Life.
So Is Life is comprised of incomparable musicians, teachers, clergy and visionaries: Cantor Rosalie Boxt, Cantor Ellen Dreskin, Josh Nelson and Dan Nichols. Each a talented musical force on their own, they come together to perform only a few times each year. Their harmonies, melodies, and messages will teach and engage us on the themes of Selichot. Together, we will create a stirring, thoughtful, uplifting and prayerful Selichot Experience.
Join us at 8 p.m. on Saturday, September 21 in the Stiffman Sanctuary at Congregation Shaare Emeth for this meaningful and inspiring Selichot Experience.
The evening will conclude with a dessert reception in the South Lobby.
This special Selichot program is made possible by the generosity of The Sam and Goldye Rosen Music Fund.
