A Workshop in Understanding What it is, What it isn’t, and How We Can Respond

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, our nation has seen a dramatic rise in the number of antisemitic incidents in the last five months. In this workshop at 7 p.m. April 12, 2017, led by Shaare Emeth’s clergy, we will explore these questions:

  • Why is this happening?
  • What are the components that cause a particular action to be labeled antisemitic?
  • Is the antisemitism of today different than the antisemitism experienced by previous generations, and if so, how?
  • When confronted with antisemitism, what is the wisest way to respond?

Space is limited. Please RSVP by Sunday, April 9, to Shandi Greve Penrod, 314-569-0010, or online at www.sestl.org/login.
