Steering Through Sukkot

The parking lot of Congregation Shaare Emeth will be turned into a drive-thru Sukkot celebration with opportunities to donate supplies to Room at the Inn and the St. Louis Food Bank.

  • Get your own kit to plant lemon balm at home.
  • Learn about Ushpizin: special guests that visit the Sukkah.
  • Enjoy the lights and decorations.
  • Shake the Lulav and etrog in the First EVER DRIVE-IN SUKKAH and get your picture taken.
  • If you choose, purchase a yard sign designed by congregant Stan Shanker for a minimum donation of $18 with 100% of proceeds benefiting the many tzedek (justice) initiatives of our Congregation. Bring cash or check please.
  • Masks required for ages 3 and above.

RSVPs are so appreciated so we can make sure we have enough caramel apples. Please RSVP below:

Please bring with you at least one of the items listed below for Room at the Inn:

  • Paper Towels
  • Paper Plates
  • Plastic Cutlery
  • Paper Cups
  • Rolls of Bath tissue
  • Laundry Detergent
  • Liquid Dish detergent
  • Cleaning Solvents

Please also bring either one non-perishable food item for the Harvey Kornblum Food Pantry or a pair of winter gloves or hat for unhoused adults.
