The Sabbath between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, known as Shabbat Shuvah – the Sabbath of Return, is a particularly solemn and sacred day. Our prayers and readings from Scripture remind us of the theme of Repentance and of the fact that the “gates of repentance” are never closed.
