As we near the end of a year that has been marked by a global pandemic, social unrest and a divisive election season, it may seem that happiness and well-being are out of reach. How can we best take care of our mental health amid such challenging circumstances? Hear perspectives on this topic from Dr. Tim Bono, a psychologist and faculty member at Washington University, who teaches courses on the Science of Happiness and is the author of Happiness 101: Simple Secrets to Smart Living & Well-Being.
Rabbi Andrea Goldstein will begin the webinar by framing the idea of gratitude from the Jewish perspective and how it relates to happiness. Dr. Bono’s presentation will follow, with Q&A at the end. You may send questions at registration or during the webinar in the zoom chat.
The mission of the Shaare Emeth Mental Health Initiative is to destigmatize mental illness and to provide education and community support for the mental health and well-being of children, teens, adults, and those who care for them.
