Congregation Shaare Emeth, Parkway United Church of Christ, and TASOM (Turkish American Society of Missouri) invite you to celebrate an interfaith Tu B’Shevat!

Tu B’Shevat is a Jewish holiday that celebrates the beauty and gifts we receive from trees and is often referred to as the “New Year of the Trees.” In modern times, themes around the environment and ecology have been included in the celebration. As an interfaith community, together we will experience

what the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim sacred texts teach about caring for nature and each other.

Upon making a reservation, you will be asked to bring a fruit or vegetable based dessert to serve eight. We will share these desserts as part of the evening.

No dinner provided.

Please bring fruits and vegetables to be donated to Project Downtown, an organization that dedicates each Saturday to feed our neighbors in need.

This program is partially underwritten by the Harvey and Leanne Schneider Interfaith Forum and is offered through Parkway UCC’s Intertwine Program in cooperation with Interfaith Quest.
