September 5, 2018, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Congregation Shaare Emeth
11645 Ladue Road
St. Louis, Missouri 63141
If you come or livestream Friday services at Shaare Emeth, you know that we use music in our prayers in a myriad of ways and in different configurations. Different song leaders and singers, students and professionals help to create a beautiful tapestry of sound for our weekly prayers.
Now is your opportunity to enhance our High Holy Day worship and music in a meaningful way.
Your previous musical, singing or Hebrew experience is not required, just a desire to learn some beautiful music and to pray with purpose. Open to singers middle-school age and up, we’ll sing for evening and morning services on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. We’ll be directed by Ben Silvermintz, the Choral Director at Parkway Central High School and no stranger to Congregation Shaare Emeth.
Families who join the choir together have made new connections within and formed relationships with other choir members by singing together and actively participating our holiest days of the year – now it’s your turn!
Please let me know you’re interested by emailing Stacy Jespersen no later than August 3, 2018.
7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on these Wednesday evenings:
