New Mount Sinai Cemetery, co-owned by Congregation Shaare Emeth and Temple Israel, will present a Kever Avot v’Imahot service – A Memorial Service Honoring Those Who Came Before Us on Sunday, October 2 at 11 a.m. in the cemetery’s Community Mausoleum. Members of the clergy from Congregation Shaare Emeth and Temple Israel will officiate.
This service of remembrance is meditative and prayerful providing comfort and solace for all. Led by clergy of the member congregations and musicians from the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra and others, the service is both reflective and comforting. It is a beautiful way to transition from Rosh Hashanah to Yom Kippur and remember on whose shoulders on which we stand.
