Families experiencing Judaism together is the guiding vision behind Shaare Emeth’s Early Childhood Engagement Initiative. Each month these programs bring together families with preschool age children to celebrate Shabbat and holidays, learn together, and strengthen their connection to one another.
Tater Tot Shabbat -These bi-monthly Friday evening Shabbat celebrations include an interactive, developmentally appropriate prayer experience followed by kid friendly Shabbat dinner and activities.
We begin with a participatory service filled with music, stories and joy, followed by an age-appropriate Shabbat dinner for children and hors d’oeuvres for the adults, and fun hands-on activities.
Tater Tot Shabbat is free of charge so to help us prepare we ask that you RSVP by Wednesday, January 9.
Should you have any questions, please contact Kara Richey at [email protected]
Early Childhood Engagement Events – Designed to enable working parents to celebrate and learn with their children, these events take place throughout Saturday and Sunday mornings. Each event features a range of interactive activities for children, opportunities for parents to connect, and a safe place for children to play in an unstructured environment.
Shaare Emeth is proud of the exceptional early childhood education at our Shirlee Green Preschool . Our free weekly Baby ‘n Me classes also provide a nurturing Jewish environment for children and their parents or caregiver.
