Mitzvah Garden

Shaare Emeth's Mitzvah Garden

The mission of the Mitzvah Garden of Congregation Shaare Emeth is to provide space for congregants to garden together – to create a shared vision by working collaboratively, educating, and cultivating a welcoming outdoor space where the focus is on feeding people in need through sustainable, organic practices and improving native habitat and biodiversity.

Our harvest is donated to the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry.

Volunteers are welcome to work an hour a month, an hour a week, or help with scheduled religious school or camper visits. To get involved or for more information on how you can help relieve food insecurity in St. Louis County, please contact our Garden Coordinator, Jessica Goltzman.

In addition to volunteering, you can make a difference for our Mitzvah Garden by making a financial contribution. All contributions go directly to cover the cost of seeds, fencing, and supplies.
