LGBTQ+ PRIDE Month at Congregation Shaare Emeth

STL PrideFest 2022: June 25 – 26

The Grand Pride Parade
Sunday, June 26
Gather at 10 a.m. | Parade begins at 11 a.m.

STL PrideFest 2022 returns to its traditional downtown STL location; Runs down Market St. starting at 10th and Market, past the PrideFest grounds, and ending at 18th and Market.

Members of Congregation Shaare Emeth will join the Jewish community and march as a group in the parade. Wear blue or purchase a shirt here.

Shaare Emeth will be carrying our banner and sharing souvenirs along the parade route. Please consider helping with these fun tasks.

Details:

  • Place: Gathering at the corner of 10th and Market Street (exact location to be provided by Jewish Federation after registering with them).
  • What to bring: water, snacks, sunblock, wagon – whatever you need to be on your feet and outdoors for a couple of hours.
  • Parking: City parking – plan that parade will be ending west of the starting point, closer to 18th and Market.
  • Carpooling: If you want to be included in a carpool match list, please send your info to Michele and we can see who else might want to carpool.

We encourage you to click this link to register with Jewish Federation of St. Louis for all updates and exact location.

About Congregation Shaare Emeth’s Keshet Committee

Keshet means rainbow or קשת in Hebrew. Since 2019, the Keshet Committee, with the leadership and partnership of Rabbi Levine and Rabbi Bearman, has been working toward affirming and welcoming members of the LGBTQ+ community. The Keshet team hosts programming to support and celebrate LGBTQ+ inclusion within our congregation and acts as a resource on LGBTQ+ issues to the congregational community.
